How to create a MetaMask Wallet?
A. Install MetaMask on your browser
1. Search MetaMask
Open https://metamask.io or search for "MetaMask extension"using your favorite search engine.
Google Chrome will be used as an example.
2. Select Chrome to install
If you select MetaMask Chrome Extension in step 1, please directly go to step 3.
If you download from MetaMask website, please select Chrome to install MetaMask as a Google Chrome extension.
3. Add to Chrome
Click Add to Chrome.
4. Add Extension
Click Add Extension.
B. Create an account on MetaMask
1. Click MetaMask icon
Click on the Metamask icon in the upper right corner to open the extension.
3. Create a Wallet
Click Create a Wallet if you do not have a MetaMask wallet before.
5. Copy Backup Phrase
Click Reveal Secret Words and copy the backup phrase to a safe place.
Never share your recovery phrase!
7. Congratulations
Congratulations! You have successfully created your MetaMask account.
2. Get Started
Click Get Started.
4. Create password
Create a strong password and click Create.
Please keep your password safe.
6. Verify Backup Phrase
Select the correct sequence of the previously generated phrase in order to verify your secret phrase. When done, click Confirm.
Some of the phrases are hidden in this example for security purposes.
How to copy your MetaMask account public address?
Web Extension
A "Copy to clipboard" should appear when you hover over the account label.
Metamask Mobile
Tap on the shortened address below the account label. This will copy the account's address to the clipboard.
